Experience Ireland with this custom tour wandering along the whiskey trail with The Celtic Ranch.

Day 1
Arrive at Dublin Airport and meet with your experienced Irish driver/guide who will take you to a nearby hotel for a welcome breakfast (for arrivals prior to 9:00am). Feeling suitably refreshed, enjoy a short panoramic tour of Ireland's capital city which will include visits to St. Patrick's Cathedral and the Guinness Storehouse. After lunch, check into your hotel after which the remainder of the day and evening is free for independent sightseeing, shopping and dining. Why not try an evening at the famous St. John Gogarty Traditional Irish Pub or visit the Temple Whiskey Bar, an official pub along the Irish Whiskey Trail or simply relax after your long journey.

Day 2
After breakfast we will visit Dublin's General Post Office, home of the Easter Rising followed by a stop at Trinity College Library and the Book of Kells Exhibition where you will see pages transcribed by monks during the 9th century. Finally we will explore the Irish National Museum which displays gold, bog bodies, ceramics, glass, Viking artifacts and may other archaeological finds from Ireland. In the evening's enjoy a "Musical Pub Crawl" which will include dinner & history.

Day 3
Leave Dublin and start your journey to the medieval city of Kilkenny. On the way stop at the 6th century monastic city, founded by St. Kevin, that lies in a lush valley in the Wicklow Mountains at Glendalough. Continue to Kilkenny and on arrival take a tour of the old Smithwick's brewery before checking into your hotel in time for dinner. The group will explore Dylan's Whiskey Bar for a true whiskey experience this evening.

Day 4
Enjoy a free day to explore Kilkenny and its many attractions including Kilkenny Castle and St. Candice's Church. Kilkenney is voted Ireland's friendliest city so you can delight in the small town Irish experience. We will meet at Bula Bus@Billy Byrnes for unique Irish food truck experience. This evening enjoy a Whiskey Trail Walking tour.

Day 5
Head to the Old Jameson's Distillery just outside Cork. Enjoy a tour where you will learn the age old art of distilling one of Ireland's favorite tipples and of course enjoy a sample at the end. We will travel on to the food capital of Ireland, Kinsale. Pick your favorite spot to eat and meet up at the Folk House, another Irish whiskey trail pub, for whiskey and cold brews.

Day 6
Leave Kinsale and travel around the south & west coast to the popular town of Killarney. Stopping at Bantry and Glengarriff and enjoy some homemade poitin at Molly Gallivan's 200 year old cottage and enjoy the views at Moll's Gap or Ladies View before checking into your hotel. This evening enjoy an Irish Night at Danny Mann's Pub which will include dinner followed by a show of traditional Irish music, song and dance. Finish the evening with a stop at Courtney's pub along the Irish whiskey trail.

Day 7
Start with an early breakfast and board the coach to travel to County Clare crossing the Shannon Estuary by ferry. Once in Clare, enjoy the scenery as you travel to one of Ireland's natural wonders, the Cliffs of Moher. The cliffs rise to 214 meters (702 ft) at the visitor centere where the views are magnificent. We will then explore the lime stone landscape of the Burren before enjoying a spirit of O'Loclainns whiskey bar and dinner at Monk's Restaurant in Ballyvaughan. Check into your city center Galway hotel.

Day 8
A free day for independent sightseeing and shopping before this evening's dinner at McDonagh's Seafood Restaurant. After dinner you are free to join us at Garavans Pub on the whiskey trail.

Day 9
Leave Galway and head to the Bru na Boinne Visitors Centre and Newgrange, a neolithic Passage Tomb, that is a sacred site in Ireland. We will then make our way to Branigan Weavers to witness the loom and handcrafts John produces and sells all over the world. We will have our last dinner as a group as we pack and prepare for our trip home.

Day 10
Transfer to Dublin Airport for your journey home. Slainte!
