These raw coffee beans were widely available in Belfast, having been traded for linen and rope. Belfast was home to the largest rope works in the world and exported to the world’s shipping industry. A Belfast shipwright, blended the coffee with various traded spices to give it a unique flavour. This process is still used today and is what makes our coffee taste so unique.
Coffee Profile:
- Cerrado is a region within the largest coffee-producing state in Brazil. This coffee is clean with a creamy feel, low acidity, well balanced exhibiting a nutty flavour with hints of caramel sweetness.
Storage:
- Store in a cool, dry place. After opening, reseal the top of the bag and secure with tab or store in an airtight container: two weeks for ground coffee and three months for beans.
Prep Guidelines:
- Grind your coffee beans to suit your coffee maker.
- Add a spoonful or more for a stronger brew.
- Brew for 3-5 minutes, an espresso machine should take 25 seconds to pour.
- Please refer to your machine manufacturer's guidelines for further instructions.

Free Shipping is offered for all orders over $100. With our free shipping option your order will ship USPS First Class Mail to any US address. Your order will ship in 1-3 days after being placed and should arrive within 5-7 business days (Monday - Friday, not including weekends and holidays) after the ship date. You will receive an email after placing your order with tracking information. Please note that once a package leaves our store it is in the hands of the US Postal Service and, while we can give a good estimation, we cannot guarantee an arrival date.
Standard Shipping for orders under $100 will cost $7.00 and will be shipped with USPS First Class Mail following the same guidelines as above.
Priority Shipping is also an option and is $11.00 for any U.S. order. With the Priority shipping option your package will be shipped within 1 business day after being placed and should arrive within 2-5 business days (Monday - Friday, not including weekends and holidays) after the ship date. You will receive an email after placing your order with tracking information.
